Polar + Sidebox
Track sales and recurring subscriptions across all the Polar products and plans that belong to your app.
How to connect
Choose Polar in Workspace Connections.
Authorize Sidebox in Polar and select the organization whose products you want to share.
Return to Sidebox and select the products belonging to your project. You can include all of its plans, without a mapped-product count limit.
Permissions and why we use them
These are the permissions used by Sidebox's current connection. Review the provider's authorization screen or key settings before granting access.
- organizations:read
- Identify your organization and its dashboard destination.
- products:read
- Discover products and read names and pricing so you can map all relevant plans.
- orders:read
- Summarize paid orders, gross sales, refunds, and recent order activity without retaining customer names or emails in snapshots.
- subscriptions:read
- Read subscription status and recurring prices to calculate current MRR by currency.
- metrics:read
- Read Polar's aggregate subscription movement and checkout conversion metrics.
Disconnecting and revoking access
Disconnecting removes the local connection and attempts to revoke its Polar token. You can also revoke Sidebox's authorization in Polar.
Disconnecting does not delete the underlying data in Polar. See our data handling page for Sidebox's retention and deletion behavior.
