How to connect

  1. Choose Google Search Console in Workspace Connections.

  2. Sign in to the Google account with access to your property and approve the requested read-only Search Console permission.

  3. Return to Sidebox and select one verified domain or URL-prefix property for your project.

Permissions and why we use them

These are the permissions used by Sidebox's current connection. Review the provider's authorization screen or key settings before granting access.

Identify the Google account granting the connection.
email
Label the connected account so you can distinguish multiple Google connections.

List accessible properties and read search performance, top queries and pages, device and country breakdowns, and sitemap status.

Disconnecting and revoking access

Disconnecting removes the local connection and attempts to revoke its Google token. You can also remove Sidebox's access from your Google account's third-party connections.

Disconnecting does not delete the underlying data in Google Search Console. See our data handling page for Sidebox's retention and deletion behavior.
